"V" Visitor Shuttle

"V" (the original miniseries from 1984) is one of those classics that helped shape the modern Sci-Fi genre.

At its core it's really not a story about alien invaders. Especially in the first miniseries it's a multi layered view on the rise of fascism and how it always begins with a wolf dressed in sheep's clothing. The story only gained its Sci-Fi aspect when the studio preferred lizard aliens in human fleshsuits over more earthly home grown fascists.

As the franchise progressed and its creator Kenneth Johnson left after the first mini-series, it's strong premise got out of sight and the weekly tv-series only serves as a showcase of how to entirely kill a strong idea in just 19 episodes. And keep killing it over and over.

Nevertheless, the original idea and design work remain still iconic today, and they inspired me to design and develop this Visitor Shuttle from "V".

This space ship set consists of +/-60 3D printed parts, including two PLAYMOBIL-compatible custom "V" figures. 

Included features:

• The cockpit roof can be detached to reveal the interior and put a figure in the pilot's seat
• The rear window can be detached too to reveal the rear gunner seat
• The side entrance to the cockpit can be opened and closed
• The shuttle comes with a ramp section that can be opened and closed
• the figures are poseable and can hold accessories like a visitor gun
