Supporting Diorama Builders with Custom 3D Prints

BenPM builds unique playmobil-diorama's for themed exhibitions in interesting historic locations, and conceives location based activities to go along with them.

And while his favorite toy range offers nearly endless options to build diorama's with, for each exposition there are at least a few elements missing to really nail the thematic premise. 

It's always fun and an interesting challenge to design the missing parts within an existing toy system. And over the years we regularly worked together with Ben on anything ranging from a single tiny piece up to an entire playmobil-compatible building consisting of 36 new parts.

And somewhere along the way, Ben caught up with the 3d printing bug too and bought his own 3d Printer. So these days, a missing design is often already printing in his home office minutes after a link with the digital file of a new design left ours. Like these custom wings we designed for a Zeppelin that Ben was customizing recently:
